  1. No workouts today, but hopefully later.
  2. I've posted about hair loss and hair problems several times and try as I might, I cannot seem to find those threads. There's a very helpful thread about it here and I posted all my info here also. You'll see my posts there also, but obviously almost everyone else has fabulous tips also. Not trying to toot my horn or anything. I just want to share what I've read and found to be helpful. This site has lots and lots of great tips for hair loss, etc. Okay, now I've found some of the threads here about hair loss. I hope all this info helps. Diet plays a big part. Scalp massages and using sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners are really helpful. Regular scalp massage is one of the best things you could do. There's lots and lots more tips. I try to do something daily. I made a chart of daily tips - sort of like a checklist. Now that I'm in my mid-40s, I no longer wash my hair every day. Also, avoid very tight ponytails. HTH :grouphug: . Let me know if you have any questions. This is a subject that I've read quite a bit about.
  3. Rebounding - was hoping to do a Barre workout also, but I don't have 90 minutes this morning. Long workouts like that are a bit discouraging to say the least :glare: .
  4. Thank you all so much for the very helpful tips. Really do appreciate it and am taking notes. I now remember making them as a kid. Thank you for the reminder. Oh, and of course, I always love your avatar. :grouphug:
  5. Mark Laham: Power Yoga - Hip Opening Sequence
  6. Thank you all so much. Love your suggestions and have been looking at allrecipes.com and on Pinterest. I would love to do Christmas crackers, but they're not sold here anymore. The really classy store that had them closed down. I'll most likely do a ham or turkey, mashed potatoes & one or two other sides, mince pies and some other yummy dessert. Can't wait!
  7. I've never prepared a Christmas meal before and now our son is asking for one. I've been thinking the same thing, that it would be nice to something. We don't really celebrate Christmas, since we have our own holidays and traditions. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! :)
  8. Start! Walking with Leslie Sansone 3 Mile Walk - one of my favorites - and definitely her best 3-Mile Walk. Lots of great moves that I don't see that often, with focus on the waistline. Love that.
  9. Jackie Warner - Crunch-Free X-treme Abs - fabulous ab workout. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
  10. Jane, that cabin looks absolutely lovely. :) It took me a few weeks to finish reading The Winter of the World. It was over 800 pages, so not very surprising, plus how busy I've been lately. I love almost all of Ken Follett's boks and this one was no exception. This is the second in a trilogy and I can't wait to read the third. 4 Stars - I would have given it 5, but it just dragged on for me a bit towards the end and some of the very technical scenes got a bit boring. ove this image - Friday Nights by Deborah DeWit. Absolute bliss. :) MY RATING SYSTEM 5 Stars Fantastic, couldn't put it down 4 Stars Really Good 3 Stars Enjoyable 2 Stars Just Okay – nothing to write home about 1 Star Rubbish – waste of my money and time. Few books make it to this level, since I usually give up on them if they’re that bad.
  11. 10-Minute Solution: Kickbox Bootcamp - very good workout, but I have to say that I really don't like kickboxing much. I know that I should. It's great for the obliques (major problem area as I age :glare: ). I just don't really care for kickboxing and am not very good at it all.
  12. I've been thinking about this a lot lately, since my mom's been shrinking. None of us are tall to begin with. Her osteoporosis is really quite bad. :( Agreeing with all the suggestions - yoga, barre, Pilates, Classical Stretch. I'm doing my best to implement them more often.
  13. New thread. Please post your workouts here. Everyone welcome. :)
  14. 10-Minute Solution: Power Yoga
  15. Rebounding - I sound a bit boring, but I am loving it. Great to do when I wake up late and have little time. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! :)
  16. Nothing really today. I woke up relatively late and it's a henna application day for me (day 2 of 3 - love this Henna). So nothing much. Susan, Happy Thanksgiving to you also. :) Sounds like a fabulous plan. :) :smilielol5:
  17. Robin, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Keeping you and your family in my prayers. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
  18. No time to go through this thread right now. Bookmarking it for later. I can't wait, since this thread is my weekly favorite. :) My reading has been very slow and not really happening. I hope that it improves in the next few weeks. Just been super-busy.
