  1. I would suggest a Leslie Sansone DVD. They are low-impact - even though some of have light jogging intervals, you're not forced to do them. You can do 1 Mile (15 minutes) at a time. Very user-friendly and easy to implement. No crunches. When she asks you to lift your arms, you don't have to. She always says that you don't have to do everything she says. HTH. If you need specifics as to which ones I love the most, I can list them for you.
  2. 10-Minute Solution Quick Tummy Trimmers - want to do more, but this is a busy morning. Our daughter's about to get on a plane with my parents. They're heading for the U.S. and a nice vacation. I'm so happy for her, but I'll miss her like mad. I've never been away from her for more than one or two nights. Great to see you here. :) Because I'm busy this morning, I have no time to reply. I will get back to you either later today or as soon as I can. I tried it once. Didn't like it. Many love it. I thought it was dry. DVDs are so subjective. I would try to view a few video samples first and see if it's what you like. It is very high-intensity if that's what you're after. Off to read this later. Thank you for sharing.
  3. Anne, I just remembered that I have posted my tips before. You can view them here. The tips would be different depending on the color you choose. I love how Lush Henna makes my hair feel. My grays are very stubborn and coarse. It covers almost all of them. The results improve with each separate application. If you do decide on Lush Henna, I highly recommend visiting their site and reading all the reviews. Those reviews are very helpful.
  4. I'll tell her. Thank you. I would have her take another, but she's leaving on a plane in just a few hours, and I won't be seeing her for almost a month. I've never been away from her for so long. I'll miss her like mad. She's excited, however - going with my parents and seeing autumn and Thanksgiving, etc. :D If you have similar tastes and if you're on Good Reads, it would be nice for you and her to connect. :) She loves Good Reads.
  5. Robin, praying for and thinking of your family. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
  6. Thanks to some suggestions here, I now use Lush Henna and absolutely love it. I'm willing to share what worked for me if anyone's interested.
  7. :iagree: This happened to me also. I can't say that I ever really liked the few books of hers that I read, but reading about her lack of remorse (a major biggie for me) was also a deal-breaker.
  8. Happy Birthday! I'm going to have fun and start a birthday thread for you. :)
  9. Rebounding and stretching. Was hoping to do a yoga DVD, but not enough time.
  10. This looks really interesting. You may know (and sorry to repeat myself) that I'm from there. Haven't been there in more than 30 years, however, nor do I plan to. Stacia, she had it recently painted. We both love purple. :)
  11. I read The Probable Future - 3 Stars - a very nice read. I'm giving it 3 Stars since it dragged on for me a bit towards the end. MY RATING SYSTEM 5 Stars Fantastic, couldn't put it down 4 Stars Really Good 3 Stars Enjoyable 2 Stars Just Okay – nothing to write home about 1 Star Rubbish – waste of my money and time. Few books make it to this level, since I usually give up on them if they’re that bad. My daughter took this photo of her stack of books. Love it and thought to share.
  12. Woke up super-early. I'm too tired right now and may be heading back to sleep soon. Hope to go swimming in the afternoon.
  13. New thread. Please post your workouts here. Everyone welcome. :)
  14. Denise Austin: Hit the Spot Pilates
  15. Nothing today. Woke up late and slept horribly.
  16. Yes, it's great  ! We love Daria. Dd is so much like her also. I always knew that you are one of my favorite online friends and I wish so much that I knew you in real life. :iagree: Fabulous book.
  17. Have a fabulous time! Will miss you and look forward to your posts whenever you can and/or when you return. Europe is great for walking. I would just suggest walking as much as you can. Pretty much every time that I've gone on vacation with a workout plan in mind, I found it hard to do. Walking was always the most do-able in my experience.
