  1. If you're actually considering buying it, you need to check and see if you need a Commercial Driver's License to drive it legally.
  2. My two youngest kids are still in braces. All of the older ones have had them. Over the course of treatment a few brackets fell off for each child.
  3. In 2008 or thereabouts TaminAZ claimed to have: DD, married with 4 kids DD, married with 3 kids including a set of twins DS, married with one kid DS age 17 DD age 14 DS age 11.5 DS age 9 Twin girls 5.5 Mixed twins 4.5 DD 4 Mixed twins 3 DS born in '07 Adopted DS born in '08 DS born in '08 I don't think Anna Marie is Tam. Tam was better with apostrophes. But, there are some similarities.
  4. I'm curious about your new house. You said that it's been used as a vacation rental. Did it come fully furnished? Or are the previous owners taking away the furniture? It sounds so exciting to have a house big enough for your family to really spread out!
  5. I saw a Mosdos complete set on ebay yesterday.
  6. Since this is just a short-term thing, IMO you should just go ahead and take over that room. If it was going to be long-term I would have a boys room and a girls room. In the not-to-distant future your 10 will NOT want to be with his sisters. And it will happen suddenly.
  7. One time my childbirth instructor told about having a similar situation. She and the doctor were so certain that the baby would come early that she had her mom come so she would be there to help with the younger kids. The baby was overdue. Praying for you and your baby.
  8. My 22yo still gets them confused. And I don't know if she can tell time with an analog clock or not. She still managed to get her degree in four years.
  9. My boys have both, too. They did vision therapy and it helped. They are currently going to a tutor who uses Barton. They learned to read at around 2nd/3rd grade. The younger one has auditory problems and they both have dysgraphia as well.
  10. WSS My brother had schnauzers several years ago. He and his wife were not good dog "parents" because they were too busy to do much training. The dogs were terribly yippy and obnoxious.
  11. Bethany, to me this is a different issue from entertainment, where of course you would turn off the TV or change the radio station. You are trying to get an education and since you have chosen to go to a secular school there will always be stuff that is uncomfortable. If I were you, I'd approach the prof from the position that it's distracting. While a college professor may not be very open to changing language just because it doesn't work for your religious sensibilities, if you tell her that careless use of the Lord's name gets in the way of learning she may be more open to making a change. BTW, I'm with you on blasphemy. I find it just as distracting/upsetting as the F bomb.
  12. I found a place called studentclearinghouse.org that will let prospective employers do a search for verification. You have to have a fair amount of information (SS number, birthdate, etc.) and the person has to give consent. There is a nominal fee.
  13. If someone graduated fairly recently, you might find an online list from their graduation. Maybe. I think that the college/university is pretty likely to confirm or deny if someone graduated. I don't think that would violate any kind of privacy laws. I'll do a little searching and see what I can find out.
