Oh, pretty much nothing. Slight funny feeling after the vax and sore arm. That was it.

Next day after second shot (Pfizer).....8:00 am and beginning to get chills and aches. Took one Ibuprofen just now, but did not take any yesterday. Sore arm. I should feel better by tonight. I hope. Nothing else uncommon to report.

Do you mind if I ask what medical anxiety med you take? I got my second shot today. Both times they didn’t seem to care that I was so nervous about the shot. I guess they do this so much, it’s nothing to them. I kinda got the side eye, and I was doing my very best to not seem nervous, but it was hard. I once passed out and had a short seizure after a blood draw while pregnant. So there’s a bit of PTSD going on there.

Oh, definitely watch Hidden Figures again when you can sit down and actually watch it! I love that movie. So good.

You can get them from the App Store or Play Store. You can also go directly to their website. Express VPN and Nord are two good ones, with Nord being more affordable. When you purchase one, usually there are tiers you can choose from to get the extras you need or the number of devices you need covered. It’s usually a one or two year purchase plan. Some have monthly payments. Tunnel Bear is one of the user friendly ones. There are some free ones, but in my opinion, only Proton VPN is the decent one. But I tend to stay with the ones that are paid. Free VPN.....seems like there’s a hidden catch somewhere. I got a Nord VPN two year plan and paid it all at once. That makes it really reasonably priced. I use it on my iPhone, iPad, and PC.

I’m not typical, I guess. I really didn’t join here until ds was pretty much near graduation and taking college classes on his own. I don’t think I ever (maybe rarely) posted on the education forum. I did read a lot there for information about certain curricula, and I did read some about The Well Trained Mind philosophy and style. It’s very impressive, but our style was a bit different. We were not Charlotte Mason style. Ds graduated and went off to college. Those homeschool days were some of the best days of my life. After he moved off to college, I was pretty sad. But I was tired of and done with thinking about curriculum and talking shop. So, I just found this place to relax (and vent) but still be in with the homeschool crowd.

It’s more fun here. Just think, if not for drifting over here, you wouldn’t have that shiny new avatar.
