Mayo makes me sick! Yuck! Some things I do enjoy:
Thinly sliced cucumbers with cream cheese on bread (on occasion)
Swiss cheese with mustard on bread
I use mustard as my sandwich condiment when ordering sandwiches and subs.

I'm 5'9" and a size 4. Even tall skinnyish women have trouble finding jeans! .
:iagree: I'm a size 2 but need a long length. Those aren't easy to find sometimes!
-
I'm 5'7" with a slender shape and very slight hips. The best places for me to buy jeans are Maurice's, Abercombie, and the "Arizona" brand at JCPennys. I buy low waist, boot cut.
Best khakis for me are at Old Navy and American Eagle.
Black pants are from Limited and NY & Co.

Yes, we did and do well baby visits. We also delayed the vaccinations. There is currently a whopping cough outbreak in our county so you just never know.

K-8, accelerated, want to buy (looking in case I have something someone wants!)? Lately I have been visiting the general board more often.

Speaking of being a sniffer, who else LOVES to sniff a can of coffee when you first open it up!!??

Last night, I flew off my big girl's scooter and landed in the gravel driveway. My palms are scraped and so is my right knee. I am incredibly squeamish and almost passed out thinking about all the little stones that damaged my palms. My palms have little holes all over them.:crying:

Hello, I'm Karin. :D
I have two girls and will be married to my wonderful dh eight years come this September. :D
I am a conservative, fundamental, Bible believing, Zionist Christian. :D
I'm a vegetarian and a compulsive "mover", I can't deal with being still. Neither can my girls. :D

I don't eat pizza with any toppings. I always take the cheese off and give it to my girls. Then I pull the soft saucy part off with my fork and eat it. Then I eat what is left of the soft saucy part...which is dry bread. Finally I eat the crust. People think I'm a nut. Oops...I guess it's really not a secret...

People the world over for centuries have done this with never doing what is considered exercise in our culture, though, that is my point.
I agree our culture is far too sedentary. I think however, although well-meaning, not everyone that doesn't officially exercises needs to be "saved" from their horrid lifestyle. I think we need to promote more activity in general and not just "exercise."
:iagree::iagree::iagree:
Very much so!

My daily life is my exercise. By nature, I am always on the move during the day either playing with the girls, cleaning, picking up, etc. Even when the girls are at the playground, I do laps around the play structures. I pace while on the phone. I park far away from the store front. Etc, etc, etc. Even if I'm sitting down, I fidget.
My lifestyle is just very active and I don't formally take time to exercise. And I'm fit and trim and I am a "non-exerciser"!
Am I tired? Sure. I just got used to it!

We loved NOEO Chemistry 1. I was very pleased with it and it was easy to tweak.

I think it is rude when people think they can touch someone else's baby without asking.
I don't know where your hand has been? Did you just come out of the bathroom touching the nasty door, did you just grab your butt and pick your wedgie, did you just sneeze and wipe your nose with your hand, did you just have your dirty, greasy keys in your hand?

My girls aren't sleepers. I'm tired....

Hills...walk up and down hills. All sorts of hills - different lengths and grades. Going up works the back of your legs and butt. Going down works the fronts of your legs. Hills produce amazing results IMO. If you can run them, even better.

Ours are in a Tupperware container, not sorted.

I also grew up in a house with the bedrooms upstairs. And because of that, I think 1st floor bedrooms are wierd!:001_smile:

Build your own wraps! You can get the meat, veggies and cheese all cut ahead of time and stored in the fridge. Ice cream sundaes are always a treat! Heck, you can make those build your own as well!

How old are your kiddos? We used CAC Sonshine when my big girl was 2.5 and she enjoyed it. I did have to beef it up for her but overall I was happy with it. It included everything we needed except glue, scissors and crayons. All crafts supplies like google eyes, Popsicle sticks, construction paper, string, felt, etc. came in the monthly box. The instruction guide was simple. The whole thing is very "mom and pop". We also used the summer craft set with both girls. I just had the girls make the crafts, I didn't follow the lessons.
All in all, it's cute and basic. I thought it was a great way to gently begin homeschooling for us.

My small girl has been using one of those Pillow Pets as her pillow since about 2 years old. She has a bee!

Haha! No....I'm the "weird" one of the family. Everyone else is all about going to college and getting a great job and being successful on that respect. I'm the Jesus-loving, home schooling, stay at home mom! And I'm a vegetarian...that is also "weird" to them!:D
My water didnt break, right? (Might be TMI)

Glad to read the update! FWIW, my water broke on its own for both girls and it was like a glass of water being tipped over. I did have a gush both times. I always remember "TACO" from my birthing class...Time, Amount, Color, Odor.
