Runningmom80
DS is really loving LL. (I hate it, I actually posted about it on the general board. I'm getting over it. ) Anyways, I'm looking for some ideas for him to branch out a little bit from the worksheets. Any ideas?
Emerald Stoker
I don't know LL, so don't know where his Latin is, but here are a couple of things we liked (I tried to put these more or less in order from easiest to hardest, but it has been a long time and I don't really remember well enough): http://www.minimus-etc.co.uk/minibookpage/minibooks2.htm http://www.amazon.com/Learning-Latin-through-Mythology-Cambridge/dp/0521397790 http://www.amazon.com/Mater-Anserina-Poems-Children-Edition/dp/1585101931/ref=pd_sim_b_18/192-2482433-1635356?ie=UTF8&refRID=0FXYN4T136R1P3H888RJ http://www.amazon.com/Young-Romans-English-Latin/dp/0865166706/ref=sr_1_1/192-2482433-1635356?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1427886240&sr=1-1&keywords=rose+williams+young+romans http://www.amazon.com/ESOPUS-HODIE-AESOP-Dorothy-Maclaren/dp/B000KW8XES/ref=sr_1_1/192-2482433-1635356?s=books&ie=UTF8

EndOfOrdinary
Learning Latin with Virgil on YouTube is a neat way to see other Latin. I would not really say the guy doing the voice over is going to earn any Oscars, he is rather flat, but it is not bad and it is animated pretty well.
Dmmetler
Cambridge School Classics Project has a nice website that is about $15/yr US (depending on what the US/UK exchange rate is that day and what fees your bank charges) that includes a lot of neat links to Roman history/culture, as well as the text of the main section of the books, games and activities. (the Cambridge text is the life of a Roman family-if you are a Dr. Who fan, specifically the family that the Doctor and Donna visit in Pompeii-and the relocation from Pompeii to the countryside does indeed occur in the books-although it was never explained there.) I think it's worth getting the subscription just for the history/culture stuff.

Sounds worth getting just for the Dr Who connection :w00t:
