Jean in Newcastle
Thanksgiving number one isn't until Saturday. I did buy some sliced turkey breast today and had some with cranberry sauce.
Mimm
Yep. Did thanksgiving at my sister's house yesterday and today I'm going to my in-laws. I have a lot less coming to do for this one so I'm fine.
Tenaj
Our second Thanksgiving is on Saturday. Baking pies and making homemade crescent rolls for the second time this week today.
BarbecueMom
We're having second Thanksgiving tomorrow. I have no idea why. My mom started having one when my brother would go to my dad's for Thanksgiving as a kid (4 hours away). He has to work today, so he was at the family Thanksgiving yesterday, but apparently I'm being roped into making, I mean, helping to make a second complete meal. Oh well, I missed dinner because of a sick kid and no one even brought me leftovers. It may not even happen anyway. My mom showed up at dinner yesterday, found out my uncle started showing stroke symptoms two days ago, but when the doctor said they needed to run tests, he pretty much refused and walked out. He's very hostile to any medicine that's not in pill form, especially if it involves technology. My aunt always treats him like he's faking it. Not helpful. Sigh. After watching him slump to one side, run into walls, and turn off his beloved Bears game, we're going to try to take him "shopping" today at a "store" that looks strikingly similar to an emergency room. I hear they have a good deal on CT scans. :-/

BarbecueMom
Oh, dear! That doesn't sound good. Hope all goes well. Thanks. He sounds back to normal this morning, so I'm going to call it a TIA with sides of, "See, I told you I'm fine," and, "See, I told you he's attention seeking!" Urgh. On with the pies and noodles, I guess.
HS Mom in NC
Today is #3 for us. Sunday was Thanksgiving/Dad's Birthday/Daughter's Birthday with my bio brother's family and my in-laws here it my house. I went to bio brother's for mom, step-dad, both my step-brothers and friends of the family. Today my older daughters are hosting at our house for friends. All of my family holidays are like a weird twist on Hanukkah. Christmas is worse. It's usually 4 gatherings in 2 days.

JFSinIL
Sort of, since we have a lot of leftover sides...and yesterday the darn bird refused to cook (house filled with smoke as wings burnt to a blackened crisp...as dark meat still bloody raw!) Right now the Evil 18 lb Bird That Would Not Cook is in hubby's huge 5 gallon beer-brewing pot to make broth, at least, and a fresh (discounted today!) smaller 13 lb bird is roasting in the oven for Thanksgiving take two. Meanwhile the tree goes up....
Vernal
Tommorrow is #4 for us. Last Saturday was dad's extended family, Tuesday was DH 's family, yesterday was my extended family, and tomorrow is with my brother at my dad's because he missed last Saturday. Bleck. Do I win for most calories consumed in a week?
