TranquilMind
That is wonderful! I thought that was an amazing idea as well. My husband had to visit some people with particular tendencies and I should have told him about this before he left. :hurray:
UmMusa
My in laws tell those same stories too! I found that so quirky when I first got married! I kept hearing the same stories over and over and wondered if they expected me to still laugh or to finish their sentence. I never got it. Melissa in Australia
:smilielol5: We went to my mothers for dinner last night, My Nan's husband was there. We always play the watch how much a person can eat game when he is around. We always get a good laugh when we go home and discuss it. This time he topped the lot. He started off telling us all he was on a diet, he then ate 1/2 of a roast leg of lamb, A whole loaf of garlic bread, many roasted potatoes, a double helping of both deserts, including eating all my desert before I had a chance to sit down from clearing up the first course. Just as well my mum cooked 2 legs of lamb. There were 14 people there for dinner.
naturally
Would you mind linking the thread? I have a family get-together coming up with some very stressful people. Anything to keep a smile would be great.
