Chris in VA
was not a total wash out after all! He wrote a story, not an essay, for the essay, and made an 8. He got a 640 for writing! And here I thought they wouldn't even look at what he wrote...:D

Chris in VA
What's ironic, tho, is that his colleges of choice don't even look at the Writing score...:001_huh: Oh well--he's taking the whole thing again in Dec.
LynnG in Arizona
What's ironic, tho, is that his colleges of choice don't even look at the Writing score...:001_huh:Oh well--he's taking the whole thing again in Dec. Congrats to your son! :) I feel your pain. Writing was DD's highest score, and yet most of the colleges to which she was applying took only the math and reading scores. Sigh . . . Lori D.
Hurray! What a relief! :001_smile: What's ironic, tho, is that his colleges of choice don't even look at the Writing score... Ug. How frustrating. But at least you know he can write well if he scored so well, and didn't even do an essay! :001_smile: BEST of luck in your "adventures in college admissions"! Warmly, Lori D.
