HappyGrace
Anyone found a good one?
momof165
School of Tomorrow sells a version of Heidi with special editing of the contents. However, I don't know to what extend. Maybe, it's what you are looking for. Sonja ___________________________ Homescholing JUST ONE - ds
Melenie
I have just read the "Dalmation Press Children's Classic" version to my 5 year old and it had a lot of the Christian content.
Matryoshka
Wouldn't any unabridged version of Heidi have all the original content, Christian and otherwise??
Jenn in Mo
I believe some versions have been edited to bring out the Christian themes more strongly, much like the Elsie Dinsmore series.

laylamcb
Wouldn't any unabridged version of Heidi have all the original content, Christian and otherwise?? It's in translation in any case, so in some cases the translators have abridged while they were at it.
Beach Mom
I used the Classics for Young Readers version (I bought it from Veritas) with my DD earlier this year. It has all the Christian content. It was edited by Ranelda Mack Hunsicker. It was such a fun unit, and has become one of DDs favorite books. We had a swiss fondue feast at the end of the unit which the whole family enjoyed. HappyGrace
Yes, I did some more checking and the Runsicker edition is the best one! Grace and Truth Books, a website I really trust, recommends this version. Thanks everyone! (BTW, I am not affiliated with Grace and Truth Books at all-just want to put a plug in for their wonderful and Godly books! Great collection of them all in one spot!)
