momofkhm Posted April 8, 2009 Share Posted April 8, 2009 We are but for a different reason. Tomorrow is dd's birthday so we take that day off. Then we take Good Friday off every year. Jackie in NE Posted April 8, 2009 Share Posted April 8, 2009 We'll be taking Holy Thursday and Good Friday off. My oldest dd has commitments with serving at church. We will all be attending church on those days. I've always been one of those people that feels like the whole world should stop on Good Friday. It is a very somber and emotional day for me, just remembering what my Savior did for me. Dd has Monday off from her classes at the Jr. High, but we will be doing our homeschooling classes, and the younger 3 will have class as ususal. We'll probably do school Friday though--we took a month off when we moved and have hit a good groove, and I hate to give that up. We will talk about what Good Friday is though.
