Ottakee
My 13dd is only 4'8" tall but is developing. She has been wearing the tanks from Speedo or Land's End but now needs a little more coverage in the front. A tankini would be nice (one with a longer top) or board shorts and a longer top (but again must have good coverage in the front). She wears girls size 10 (sometimes 8) pants but an A cup bra. Any ideas of where to look? Normally I am a total clearance/thrift store shopper but I am not sure I can find what I need there this year. Starr
I would spend money on a proper fitting swimsuit for a young lady. Lands End in misses separates might work. Good luck! I know how difficult it can be. Keep shopping, don't give up. :)
Sebastian (a lady)
Have you tried the overstocks section of Land's End?
Suzanne in ABQ
I'll add my vote for Lands' End. I believe that for some styles, you can order differently sized tops and bottoms.
Mamagistra
Lands' End, definitely. My 11-yo is in a misses tankini already. :svengo: Maybe you can find a petite misses top to coordinate with a girls suit bottom?
LaxMom
Another vote for Land's End separates. You can select the coverage level of both the top and the bottom, and the tankini style is great on short people because the torso never bags (which, of course, then makes the top gape). They have shelf bras in most styles (or underwire, but she probably doesn't need that) that lend both support and coverage.
