Tap
We bought BF’s granddaughters new beds in Sept for their birthdays. Mom was supposed to buy the mattresses but due to her ever changing circumstances, she hasn’t. We are going to order them for Christmas presents ( but send them now). Girls are 5 and 3. Any recommendations for mattresses under $200 each? Don’t want to spend more due to her living situation and not sure if they will need to be replaced in the near future. His daughter always lives on the edge of eviction. Delivery by Amazon is a plus but we are in a large city so pretty much anything is available. wendyroo
We bought this one from Amazon. We bought the 6" thick version because DS was sleeping in a bunk bed at the time, and we wanted to make sure the guard rail extended far enough above the mattress. We were shocked by how comfortable it was for being so thin and so cheap. And that was almost 3 years ago, and it is still holding up great.
Brittany1116
We have had this one for 5.5 years. Older kid is now 120# and it's still in good shape, no complaints about comfort. I have slept on one or another on the odd occasion. I wouldn't be happy to sleep on it for years as an adult, but it is just fine for small children, and within your budget.
Corraleno
DD had a Zinus brand twin mattress from Amazon that lasted ~6 years until she switched it out for a double bed. Hers was a 12" but for little kids who are only 3 & 5 I think the 8" would be absolutely fine (and easier to move if needed), and those are only $150. ScoutTN
We got a NapQueen memory foam mattress last year on Amazon for $140 for my 6’3” son and it is very comfortable.

We camped for 26 days last summer and never woke up sore. I completely forgot about it!
