Samantheia
Any suggestions for an online philosophy class for a 12th grader? It could be a great books class as well if it encompasses more than literature. Thanks!
Porridge
I haven’t used these, but here are some options https://www.7sistershomeschool.com/philosophy-in-4-questions/ https://www.wordonfire.org/videos/the-great-debates-of-philosophy/

Alice
We used Outlier https://www.outlier.org/collections/course-catalog?type=courses. It's a college level course. I can't remember the details now but we chose to audit it which was cheaper and also meant we didn't have to worry about the grade and having to report it. I still graded it myself and he still got feedback from the instructors, we just didn't want to have to worry about keeping up exactly with the syllabus, which was challenging for a high schooler (he also was doing it as a 9th grader so I wanted it to be less intense).
pmeilaen
Hillsdale College has a free philosophy course. I will try that one this school year with my 12th grader. We will also read Living Biographies of Great Philosophers. With one of my daughters, we did The Consequences of Ideas, which was very good. With my son, I read Sophie's World and a few German books on philosophy.
