Bambam
My oldest received a couple of local group scholarships for college. She wrote thank you notes at the time, and then once she graduated, I wrote a note just letting one group (that I had been involved with but was no longer but still friends with many of the members) that she had graduated with this degree and just letting them know the scholarship was put to good use. We didn't do anything for the other scholarships. My youngest also received several scholarships from local groups. Should she send an updated graduation letter to those groups or is the original thank you note sufficient? One is from the same group that I used to be involved with, but that was 6-7 years ago now, so I really don't keep up with the members in the group outside of random encounters in the grocery store.
Starr
It's been a long time but I think they just wrote the original thank you. Another update thank you sounds nice for local groups.
katilac
I think the initial thank you is sufficient, but an update would be lovely.
