SonshineLearner
Good Luck.... I have to say that life got easier when I started doing showers for my dog. Next time we do the bathroom, I want to have one of those hooks to hook the dog to, while you "bathe" it. (Like at the groomers) Anyway, I hope you survive the bath...and next time try a shower:-) Carrie:-)
Mommyof4ks
:lol::lol::lol: I totally understand! My dog weighs too much and can no longer get into the tub by herself, so hubby has to do that. I don't miss it a bit!

newbie
How big was the dog, elephant size? Sounds like its easier washing ponies.
Vida Winter
Yoo hoo did you survive? I feel your pain (I have 2 big dogs). At our house I am making many batches of cookies with my girls helping - extensively. Likewise if you never hear from me again that is the reason! Remudamom
I'm back!!! It was close, let me tell you. Small dog, heart of a rabid croc. Very............intense. This is how she rides in the car since I won't let her be a hood ornament. Her nickname's Shotgun.
newbie
That should be your avatar. Isnt she a cattle dog, and does she help out on the ranch?
Remudamom
She is an ACD, Australian Cattle Dog, otherwise known as a heeler, and she has no finesse at all. She's a nightmare with the cattle, but sometimes helpful with the horses. She bit my dh because he moved when she was sleeping on the bed, and when she was little she'd grab my throat in her jaws and gently work them back and forth. Seriously. I love this dog.
