Earthmerlin
Hi. This summer I’d like to boost my 7th grader’s knowledge of physical science (chemistry, physics, etc.) since she had an instructor this year whose explanations weren’t too clear or engaging (she goes to public school). I’ve got a couple books I’ll use but science is my weakness. I’m looking for some hands-on and potent activities I can use with her in order to bring to life the material we’ll read from the textbooks. Any & all ideas are helpful! Green Bean
Try posting on the Logic Board for more ideas. How about a kit from Home Science Tools? Bill Nye vids on YouTube?

Porridge
The physics kit from home science tools is excellent. It comes with a detailed booklet that provides background and instructions for the experiments.
Momto6inIN
Exploration education is fun for physical science! My DD really liked the kits a lot. Ellen McHenry's The Elements is good for chemistry.
