Laura K (NC)
My oldest son is going to a Christmas party where there is a gift exchange. There about 18 boys who are all 8th-12th grade homeschoolers and competitive swimmers. Any ideas?
AndyJoy
Is this one of those exchanges where someone opens a gift, then the next person can "steal" it or choose another? I remember a canister of paintballs being popular among the boys at one such event I attended.
Tap
Ds gets a dollar store tin, fills it with raffia and full size candy bars. Fred Meyer often has candy bars for 3/$1 so we get those. It has always been well received and it is good for a boy or girl. Candy isn't my favorite idea, but I especially don't mind giving it to athletes. If there is anyone who can use some extra calories it is a swimmer!
Unicorn.
A cool swim cap. A pair of goggles (if you can find some on sale). A basket or bag filled w/ swim snacks (granola bars, jerky, chocolate, etc), cool towel or flip flops (hobby lobby has cheap flip flops) Non swim related: funny t-shirt, gift card (to target or music/ book store), headlamp flashlight, that's all I can think of at the moment HTH
