Projector and screen recommendation for yard

Some teens will be hanging out here, mostly in the backyard for most of the time. For entertainment we would like to get a projector and a screen. It’s a small yard so the screen will be relatively close to the seats and therefore perhaps the projector doesn’t have to be top of the line.

Anyone have one or is thinking of buying one? There are a lot of options ranging from $70 up to $500+.

Of the low cost/high quality models, Vankyo is the leader. Last night. We set up the 630w model.  It is very impressive. About $230.

Thanks, just ordered a Vankyo that was a lightning deal. Did you buy a separate screen? Or use a bedsheet? Actually it can get very windy here so I’m not sure a homemade screen will do.

We bought a screen.  Ours came with a stand and yard stakes.

You can weight a bedsheet by picking open the side edges of the top hem (which is usually wide)and sliding a broom handle in there.  Makes it a bit wind-resistant,  and hang nice and straight without wrinkles.

Edited for clarity:  Hang it upside-down so that the broom handle is at the bottom, of course.
