Orthodoxmomx4
In an effort to try and streamline my homeschool next year, I'm thinking I'd like to use SOTW audio book on Monday followed by a picture book relating to the specific chapter or accompanying video during the week. Has anyone found this already prepared so I don't have to spend my summer planning?
Rosie_0801
There are lists of suggested reading in the SOTW activity books.

ScoutTN
I didn’t plan that. I just spent 30 minutes on the library every 4 weeks or so, reserving books for the next few chapters. No big deal. 2
Publia
Like @ScoutTN, I reserved picture books online and picked them up at the library periodically. If you're planning to tie literature to the historical time period, then it is useful to plan that out a little in advance so you know what order you want to read things in, since those tend to be longer books. The list in TWTM is a good place to start!
knitgrl
Of course, the Activity Guide is the first place to go. However, this site might have some useful things as well, in terms of both book and video suggestions. https://www.besthomeschoolresources.com/world-history-essentials 1
2_girls_mommy
Or if you don't want to buy the activitiy book, the Well Trained Mind also has book suggestion lists. But I think the lists in the AG are best tied to the topics. 1
