not sure what you mean by reading levels?

Here are the reading lists sorted by grade levels- scroll to the bottom of the page

https://www.mensaforkids.org/achieve/excellence-in-reading/

On the k-3 one we read the lower reading levels first like Goodnight Moon and worked out way up to the higher reading levels like Little House on the Prairie. I wanted to read the ones geared more toward 4th grade 1st.

Wow, we're going all out of order on these. 👀 😄

But I noticed from your post that the list is different from the one I have printed out. I checked the K-3 and 7-8 lists and saw that they're different, too. Does anyone know how frequently they are updated? Or whether it matters if you use an outdated list if you're going for the t-shirt?

Don't know how frequently they update -- I just clicked on the link provided up-thread by @JHLWTM ... 😉

They have changed the list. When I first saw the list a few years back, it was indeed different. It looks like they have tried to be more inclusive with the new list - adding titles that represent a more diverse set of experiences and viewpoints. You could email them to find out if you can use the old list.

I don't think the order matters. My oldest doesn't struggle at reading at all, BUT he does prefer to read below grade level, but I have to challenge him a bit, butI didn't want to give him the hardest book on the list.
