Alicia64
My kids aren't taking the SAT to get into college. But turns out the scholarship my kids qualify for requires an SAT score. Was there a prep book that your kids loved the most? TIA, Wendy
Lucy the Valiant
The official College Board practice tests are the best ones; they're available free online, or (the same tests) in a book. 2
mlktwins
I just bought this. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0692916164/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I went this route because it had good recommendations and because College Board has the free practice test online. Mine are in 10th grade and we are just starting the process. 1
Alexinmemphis
Maybe try looking into Erica Meltzer for Reading and Grammar books (no math).
Hadley
I second both the use of the released College Board tests and the Meltzer reading comprehension books. In addition, my son really got a lot of use from the Panda SAT prep books as well. He liked both the math and the writing books. Good luck to your students!!
Lanny
In addition to the books and resources mentioned above,, the College Board has an official tie-in with Khan Academy. Those 2 accounts should be linked. Khan Academy is FREE. Each student should have an account on College Board and also an account on Khan Academy. My DD used Khan Academy almost exclusively when she was studying for the PSAT/NMSQT and later the SAT. She qualified on the PSAT/NMSQT for National Hispanic Scholar and she did well on the SAT. If I was going to pay, I believe most or all of the comments I have read on WTM about Prep Scholar were Positive and I would look into Prep Scholar.
