itsheresomewhere
I am curious too. I have looked at it and wondered if anyone had used it.
Carrie12345
Electric pressure cooker/canners are only approved for water bath canning and pressure cooking, not pressure canning.
Carrie12345
Hm. NESCO is claiming theirs is safe for pressure canning. It’s only been a few months since I did my research and no electric canner had been certified or whatever for that purpose. Maybe they finally did, but I’d do more research. :::kinda annoyed that I just got a new regular canner:::

Of course they are currently out of stock like most everything related to canning. https://www.gopresto.com/product/presto-precise-digital-pressure-canner-02144 I too am very curious if they are truly safe. If so I'd be all over it. I have induction so most pressure canners don't work for me. Presto also just introduced a pressure canner for induction but they too are out of stock. I'll be getting one or the other when they come back in just not sure which.
