Books about infectious disease

I'd like to read a few with my older kids (11, 13, and 15). 

Dd13 just read "Small Steps: The year I got polio" by Peg Kehret. in one sitting.

I have "An American Plague" on my list. 

Any others you have read and recommend? An adult-level book or two would be OK for ds15 or dd13, but dd11 needs something easier.

Your 11-year old might like Invincible Microbe by Jim Murphy. I haven’t read it but it’s scheduled in one of the Build Your Library levels.

Disease Fighters: Nobel Medicine Winners

I liked fever 1793 as an adult.  When the library was closing I was scanning the science videos quickly.  My daughter turned down the biology video on viruses as hitting too close to home.
