Selkie Posted December 7, 2019 Share Posted December 7, 2019 Good morning! morning chores tidy up house - kitchen counters are a mess empty garbage cans upstairs & change sheets put clean laundry away remember to clean & medicate Mac's ear check if we have enough strings of lights for the tree meet up with two of the kids for lunch at Thai place go to farm store to get grain & dog food get groceries at Natural Grocers need a few things at Walmart - we'll see if I have the mental stamina to stop there today... evening chores dinner: probably a fend-for-yourself night watch a movie tonight? Time to turn on the tV and watch for them. I'm ready for a second cup of tea! Deskwork Dd to/from a youth group event ✅ A little shopping while I'm on that side of town ✅ Make sure house gets cleaned - vacuuming and bathrooms at least Clean humidifier ✅ Cool beef stock and start turkey stock ✅ Make cookie dough? To do today: breakfast, walk dog Check candle order from Bath and Body Works (did not want to stand in the massive line today, so tried online instead) Walmart, Target, Hobby Lobby for wrapping paper, assorted items Visit with my mom, take her on errands Costco trip with dh this evening Watch some football, wrap presents, work on Christmas cards and co-worker gifts Trying this recipe for cookies this evening. Sent dh out to run an errand for me. Put ground beef into the fridge to thaw. Got out veggies and chx stock for dinner. Wrapped a gift. Are you still on antibiotics? Antibx were over last Sunday.The infection seems to be gone, but there is fluid in my middle ear, behind the eardum. Blocked eustachian tube? I am getting pain in my jaw/teeth now so definitely sinus related. Very limited hearing in that ear and lots of ringing. Seeing my pcp this week and an ENT as soon as I can after that. Appts take forever to get! Of course it happens at the end of the year when our HSA money is gone. Dh got about 8 things wrong on the grocery trip (didn't read the list carefully? Couldn't read labels w/o his glasses?) so I'm headed out to return the items and get the right ones as soon as the pot pie is out of the oven. Then make salad.
