hippiemamato3
I just realized that Academy of Science for Kids is no longer selling their kits, and I'm pretty sad. What else is similar? Middle school level or higher is great. Thanks! Edited October 2, 2018 by hippiemamato3
Zoo Keeper
I'm rather fond of TOPS science, and you can get supply kits from them as well...https://topscience.org/

I like the free sample labs, too. How long does it typically take you to complete a booklet?

How long does it typically take you to complete a booklet? Depends on the booklet. If you want to knock a bunch out in a couple of intensive days, that's possible for some of them. Or you can stretch it way out. I'd say 4-5 per year would be plenty for science. The biggest detractor with TOPS is that there's zero text. Alas. But you can pair it with whatever living science books you like.
HomeAgain
I haven't tried these, but they're on my radar if we need a plan later: http://www.homeschoolscience.com/#

Sometimes a textbook, sometimes biographies, sometimes lots of NOVA. I cast my net wide in K-8 science.
