Jean in Newcastle
Nope. I love the idea, but I am 5 feet tall with a big chest and tend to look like a hobbit playing dress-up when I try them. I love some of them so much though, that I buy them at thrift shops and use them on my furniture for decoration. How do you do that? DrPe it across the top? VaKim
How do you do that? DrPe it across the top? Yep. Just however it happens to look nice. The longer skinny ones are the best for the tops of some shelves I have. I have a pretty sheer one with pink roses on my white bookshelves in the hall right now. Edited to add - apparently I am far from original, lol. I Googled to see if I could find you a picture, and tons of sites and Pinterest boards came up about using scarves for decor instead of just wearing them. fairfarmhand
No. I feel like I'm being hung all day. Or smothered. I can't wear turtlenecks either Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Forget-Me-Not
I wear them when I want to look a little dressier, but they start to bug me after a while. I don't like things on my neck. I buy v-neck or scoop neck t-shirts because even crew necks drive me batty (also I have a lot of boob real estate so crew necks are very unflattering).
