lulubelle
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone else is doing Sudoku puzzles with their kids? I got some from a school material site and it is Learn & Play Sudoku according to grade. My son seems to really be in tune with pattern recognition. He is doing Saxon 1 and Sudoku for second grade. Just wondering others experience with it or benefit.
cathmom
I can't do them for the life of me!
Starr
We've done them from time to time the past few years. They are fun and work your brain.
Narrow Gate Academy
I love doing them. DD9 can do the easy and some medium level ones on the own. DD7 is doing the beginner ones on her own. For me, I consider it a fun way to exercise my brain. For the kids I consider them a lesson in logical thinking. (They just think they're fun.:)) They do them off and on nin their free time. mom31257
I love them!! My dd can do them, but my ds loves them like me. I have found Veggie Tale and Sponge Bob books for kids at Wal-mart. They are small (4x4) and use stickers. It was a great introduction for my son. I have a kids book called More Super Sudoku for Kids that uses numbers, letters, and shapes. They start off 4x4 and move gradually up to the 9x9. I'm not sure where I got this book. I can't really remember...sorry. It's by Modern Publishing. AnneC
We have a board game that has tiles the kids can place. Some of the puzzles use pictures instead of numbers.
