Nestof3
http://www.teeccino.com/ My husband has not had coffee in two years b/c he has removed caffeine completely from his diet. A friend of ours let him try their Teeccino, and he was amazed at how much it tasted like coffee. Teeccino is a blend of herbs, grains, fruits and nuts that are roasted and ground to brew and taste just like coffee. Naturally caffeine-free - no processing, no chemical residues High in heart-healthy potassium Natural energy boost - from nutrients, not stimulants Alkaline - helps reduce acidity and restore alkaline balance Rich in inulin, a soluble fiber in chicory root, that helps improve digestion and elimination plus increases the absorption of calcium and minerals I'm going to start replacing my evening coffee with this. love2read
Thanks, did you buy it locally or mail order?
Nestof3
He bought it locally. Here's a store locator: http://www.teeccino.com/search.aspx He tried the Hazelnut (from our friend) and bought the Vanilla. I would like to try the Java, because I'm not a flavored coffee gal. He found it less expensive in our local health food store than online, but I'm sure if you keep searching, you can find a bargain.

The Health store near martial arts has it. :auto:
The Governess
My dh is Italian and his dad made me a cup of this once, from scratch. He roasted barley and some other stuff and turned it into a kind of coffee. I think it was the best cup of "coffee" I've ever had! He said they serve it in Italy, and the kids can drink it too. I didn't know that you could buy it commercially. Thanks! :D
laughing lioness
Thanks, Dawn. I can get it locally!!
Lovedtodeath
Oh Dawn, where have you been the last 16 months? DS is allergic to coffee and tea and I have been shriveling away. I can't wait to try it!
5Youngs
Teecino is fantastic! I love the mayan mocha flavor. There are sometimes $2 off coupons on the containers at Whole Foods. Be on the look out.....
milovany
I'm going to order the sample pack. I don't drink coffee but dh does ... by the way, for anyone in the Azure Standard delivery areas I've noticed that they carry Teeccino for quite a bit less than the Teeccino website! ($48 instead of $61 for a 5# bag; $7 instead of $9 for the 11 oz bag)
