Moxie
Does anyone else have children who are too attached to their pumpkins to carve them?
tibbyl
Our kids do not carve until H'Day
Jennifer3141
We end up with pumpkins, corn, and gourds until the end of spring. We carve a few pumpkins but many are just blocks around here and will be until they start to rot. :) Jen
AndyJoy
My sister and I always painted ours rather than carving them so that they would last longer.
lovemyboys
Does anyone else have children who are too attached to their pumpkins to carve them? Dc just floated this thought today. Previously, they'd been leaning toward the pumpkin with the shocked look on his face and innards spewing out of his head or mouth or .... bleh. Anyway, I was surprised when they mentioned a little bit ago that they enjoyed their pumpkins "just as they are." :001_huh:
MeanestMomInMidwest
No, but my kids never want to throw them out once they are carved!

Mrs Mungo
Oh, my kids have been begging to carve their pumpkins ever since the day we went to the pumpkin patch! Of course, it's so hot and humid here that I'm afraid to do it until the day of Halloween. Moldy jack-o-lanterns may be scary but that's not the look I'm going for. ;)
