SparklyUnicorn
I'm 37. Is that too young? Because I'm identifying with these symptoms. Still regular but really awful stuff. Brain fog. Irritable . No energy. Sleep issues.anxiety. No motivation. Hair loss. Severe periods. I'm back on bcp to manage this stuff but is there an alternative? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk No I don't think so. My mom and sis stopped having their periods at that age. So it is absolutely possible. I don't know of an alternative. Maybe an ablation. SKL
Waking up with butterflies in my stomach, like something awful was about to happen. Almost every morning. Once I was fully awake, I'd know it wasn't based on anything at all. I've been doing this for years. My dad does it too though. I suspect it has something to do with lying down, which sucks since I love sleeping. :)
4kidlets4me
My symptoms started at 38 and every doctor I went to said I was way too young to be in perimenopause. Now I'm 40 and it's just getting worse. I sure hope I don't have another 10+ years of this crap.
SKL
I should add that I got a positive from menopause. My acne got a lot lot better. That said, I have a couple of those really annoying hormone zits right now so maybe I spoke too soon. :/

SKL
I think mine started around 38ish. I also don't want to hear about no 10 years of this crap. :P

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yeah, sadly I can't take the pill. I assume that means I can't take other hormonal anything either. The side effects are worse than what I'm dealing with! Otherwise, I would be on it yesterday.

KarenNC
Dramatic decrease in the ability to filter out stimuli. It's like I have only a few receptors in the brain and have to unplug one thing to deal with another one. Music is the worst, particularly with a strong beat or a lot of bass. It feels like a physical assault after a while. If I'm driving and have to make a turn from a stop sign into a decent amount of traffic, radio has to go off and no talking from my daughter. It's too loud to be able to see properly, if that makes sense.
