Upennmama
Hi there. I can't remember the name of a book I heard of, and I thought maybe the learned mamas here could help me. It's a book which lists kids' books according to time period. I heard about it on a podcast, and I've checked all the regular podcasts, and I can't find it. Any ideas? Thanks! scholastica
For the Love of Literature by Maureen Wittman is another one like that.
RootAnn
All Through the Ages includes a lot of the lists in other books. There are a few samples on this page. It looks like they are coming out with a new edition. (The book I have is on Amazon for $$. It is probably pricey right now because it is out of print. If it looks good, order the new one from the publisher for less than what the Amazon sellers want for a used old edition! It might take a couple weeks to get to you, but the new edition looks spiffy.)
