SparklyUnicorn
I have not tried this, but I just saw a video about it. Wow! Who would have thunk (assuming this really works so well).
ktgrok
I heard a lot of people trying it, but few having success. Works better on the stove was the consensus. (or get an $8 Microwave popping bowl).
sarasue7272
Seems harder than stovetop?? I can pop 1/3 cup of kernels on the stovetop and end up with 0-2 kernels left unpopped. And have a handle to pour it into a bowl!
SparklyUnicorn
Yeah I am reading mixed reviews about it.

That is what I was thinking I would think the IP would really not be optimal b/c the bottom is domed.
SparklyUnicorn
That is what I was thinking I would think the IP would really not be optimal b/c the bottom is domed. Huh, the bottom of mine is not domed.
Soror
Huh, the bottom of mine is not domed. Well, not exactly domed but t isn't flat. You can see in the video how the oil goes to the outside ring of the pot. You have to add a lot of oil to get a full covering all the way across the bottom of the pot. Yet again, in the video you can see there are spots that are not fully covered by the oil.
xixstar
I love that people are trying new things but sometimes I think they're pushing too hard. But then again, for some people, this can be their sole appliance. So why not get creative! :)
