What is the least expensive way to purchase Brain Pop?

Last year I purchased Brain Pop through homeschool buyers co-op---and I remember that I didn't spend an arm and a leg.   We have used our subscription EXTENSIVELY.   I have the kids search for various things they are learning about, and they enjoy watching the short, fun videos.

However, now my subscription is expired.  :(   I went to try and renew and the homeschool buyers co op price is only available to new members.  So it is going to cost like $240 to renew.   Booo!!!    Are there any other deals that I could get online?

If you have an iPad...it is a lot cheaper to subscribe using the app. $6.99 per month. You can turn the subscription on or off when you like. Like use it a lot for a few months, take a break for a few months. Back on for a few months...etc.

How can I tell if my school district has a Brain Pop subscription?

They might mention it on their library/media center website. Or on a page with useful links/resources for parents/kids. Alternatively, you ask parents of kids who are enrolled in school, though they might be unaware even if your school subscribes - ask to see the school newsletter if they have one. And, finally, you could obviously ask someone at the school.

Sorry, not the OP, but does the app have the same features/functionality as the web version?

I get it through a testingmom.com subscription which was $118/year. Through testingmom I've also got free logins to a ton of different educational websites/apps including: Webber's Hearbuilder, Wordly Wise 3000, Brittannica, MobyMax, Reading Kingdom, Clay Piggy, Scootpad, Scholastic BookFlix, Tumblebook Library, Planetii Smartmath...

It's a surprisingly great deal if you use even 2 of them.
