Loowit
I am throwing a surprise Harry Potter birthday for my soon to be 11 year old next Saturday. I have seen numerous recipes for butterbeer online, but I am not sure which one to choose. I was hoping some of you might have one that you have tried and really liked.
FriedClams
I used the one from the Orlando paper. We skipped the run flavor. Sweet as all get out, but the kids loved the idea of it. Maybe the Register? Edited September 25, 2016 by FriedClams

Momling
I just improvised with cream soda flavored with butterscotch and whipped cream. It was very popular. Ice made the sweetness less overwhelming.
bolt.
Cream soda (clear or golden) with a little rum extract, topped with whip cream. Optional: add in liquid cream. You can also do a mixture of cream soda with plain sparking spring water (for the basic liquid) to have similar flavour with less sweetness. Edited September 25, 2016 by bolt.
