Angie in VA Posted August 6, 2016 Share Posted August 6, 2016 (edited) I would consider it a blessing since NBC ruined watching Missy Franklin's first gold medal victory in 2012. Not that I'm bitter or anything. We didn't have TV for the 2014 winter games, so we paid for a month of Tunnel Bear and watched via our iPad using Apple TV and Airplay. Loved their coverage! Much better than NBC's. I can understand delaying coverage of big events until prime time, but they were just obnoxious about it, and all the teases. <_< I'm not sure any other American network would do any better than NBC, but I enjoyed the British coverage. This will be another year we don't give NBC the time of day. They put our country to shame IMO. Thank you Tunnel Bear - and this time we opted for CBC (Canada) for Opening Ceremony pleasure - LIVE!
