Olympic sound problems

Anyone else not getting sound from NBC commentators?

I would consider it a blessing since NBC ruined watching Missy Franklin's first gold medal victory in 2012. Not that I'm bitter or anything. 

 

We didn't have TV for the 2014 winter games, so we paid for a month of Tunnel Bear and watched via our iPad using Apple TV and Airplay. Loved their coverage! Much better than NBC's. 

 

But I'm glad the audio for NBC is now working for nice, non-bitter folks like you. :)

Look here for the fail w/ Missy Franklin.

 

I can understand delaying coverage of big events until prime time, but they were just obnoxious about it, and all the teases. <_<  I'm not sure any other American network would do any better than NBC, but I enjoyed the British coverage.

Yeah, using VPN to watch the BBC coverage again.  The NBC commentators are seriously annoying, and I'm still miffed they cut out the beautiful "Abide With Me" tribute to the 7/7 victims during the London opening ceremonies for a interview by Ryan Seacrest, of all people.

This will be another year we don't give NBC the time of day.  They put our country to shame IMO.

?  The ceremony is over now - and Tunnel Bear is up to $8, but still very worth it IMO!
