Crimson Wife Posted July 27, 2016 Share Posted July 27, 2016 I use "Nurse First Name" with a child (we use either "Dr. First Name" or "Dr. Last Name" with physicians) and just first name with my own midwife. The ones I find awkward are allied health practitioners who don't have a specific title like speech/occupational/physical therapists, older audiologists who have a master's rather than an AudD., etc. It feels so disrespectful for my child to call him/her by first name only but they don't want to be called Mr./Ms. Last Name. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
