cave canem
I had the initials wrong in my original post. Here is the link for Classical Learning Resource Center's German 1: http://clrconline.com/high-school-german-i/ Do you recommend any other online German course provider? I can't recommend any yet, but several of the online schools offer beginner GermanWTMA and Landry (Christian) among them.
crazyforlatin
We're taking a summer German course with CLRC. It's just 4 classes, one more left after July 4 week. What I can tell so far is that the teacher is very encouraging. But this is just a short intro course to see if you are interested in continuing in the fall. We've had experiences with their Arabic and French classes and soon Greek 3.
SparklyUnicorn
Never saw that one before. We will be using this one: http://germanonline.okstate.edu/ The price is reasonable ($250 for the year). A few people here have used it and said it worked out well for them.
JoJosMom
No experience with German, but we've had a fabulous experience with Latin.
