Epicurean Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I searched the forum but there hasn't been much talk of this curriculum for ages 3 - 7. I read about it on Farmhouse Schoolhouse and it sounds right up our alley. They're having a 15% off sale until 5/13 (coupon 15kidsohmy) and I'm tempted to snap it up. Anyone care to share your impressions of it? JRmommy Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 I just purchased it in April during their tax season sale (20% off). My daughter turns four this summer. We haven't started it yet, but I've looked through it and it is beautiful! My daughter is going to love this. I purchased both the ebook and printed versions. Quote
Hilltopmom Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 Wow, that looks gorgeous:) My almost 3 yr old doesnt seem ready for most of the activities yet. Right now, I'm planning DIY Tot School for age 3 with all the stuff I already own, & a few newer fun things. But this is a strong possibility for age 4! Quote
CelticHaiku Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 I am interested in this too. I have a 4 year old and it seems right up her ally. I would love input from someone who has done this. Quote
Eagle Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 I'm interested too. I recently ordered the Homegrown Preschooler book, but it hasn't arrived yet. I would like to know how much more is in the curriculum vs the book. Are most of the activities in the book but they are more scheduled in the curriculum, or are most of the curriculum activities new? Quote
Homeschoolmommy44 Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Year of playing skillfully is 179.00 that is beyond limit! You can find infinite play activities on google and pintrest for free! I do not think a book is needed to teach kids to learn through play and especially for that amount of money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
JennSnow Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Maybe I'm missing something...I took a look at the sample..is that it for September? Just a list of a few activities, a handful of book recommendations, and a recipe for the month? And it's $179.00? 1 Quote
CelticHaiku Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 The e book is $120. As far as I can tell that gives you a theme, supplies lists, and activities for each month. I think that is 9 months so $13 a month. Personally I will not be in a position this fall to do the leg work on Pinterest to come up with my own stuff (brand new baby in August) but my daughter needs something more than just playing with her toys this fall. I like having the September sample because I can try this for free and if it is working for us I will order the e book near the end of September. Quote
