Daria Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 DS is going to prom. He's a junior and his school's prom is just seniors and their dates, but he got invited as someone's date. One of the girls is having a big group over for a pre-party. They'll have dinner and then they've rented a bus to take them around and take pictures in front of the monuments. I think the senior moms are all contributing to dinner, but he was told clearly that no more food was needed. So what do I send? Something for the girl hosting? Something for her mom? Two somethings? A family something like a box of chocolates? Quote
mom2samlibby Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Nothing. A corsage for her, but otherwise, nothing. 1 Quote

Starr Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I'm sure the parents hostessing the party would be charmed if he showed up with chocolates and thanked them for hosting. 4 Quote

Tsuga Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Agree with the chocolates and thank you. In this case it really is the symbolic gift. 2 Quote
