mathnerd
My DS stained his martial arts uniform with chocolate - he was eating a ZeeBar before class and since he has a missing front tooth now, some of it spilled on to his top. i spot cleaned, used a lot of oxiclean and borax and washed it in cold water. But, there are still light traces of chocolate color (it is not pristine). I have not dried it in the hopes that the stains will not set in. I cannot bleach it because it has patches and logos on it. Any other true and tested methods to remove the stains? Thanks in advance.
justasque
I have successfully used Shout, in the bottle with the scrubby brush thingy on top, to get out chocolate stains. You squirt on the stuff, then rub it in with the scrubby brush thingy top. I also flip it over and squirt and scrub on the opposite side. Then wash in cold as usual.
MiMi 4under3
Spot clean it with Clorox bleach spray, being very carful not to touch the surrounding patches. Or, spray any stain remover and let it sit for a few hours.
Mom-ninja.
I use peroxide for any type of protein stain. Works great on chocolate. Just don't put in the dryer and keep applying peroxide until it is finally gone.
Jan in SC
Try a bar of Fels Naptha and a toothbrush. It get stains out of white baseball pants.
