kalanamak
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2004159901_williams02m.html NB: this link is about a murder I was one of the staff he threated to kill. We were so desperate to see him go to jail and the alarmed social worker in the article is a pit bull on the phone, but even she couldn't make it happen. WTMCassandra
Oh. My. Goodness. Words fail. I'm glad you're safe, but I'm sorry someone else died while they messed around worrying about HIS civil rights. Grrrr.
Volty
The psych ward is a great job for lots of good stories. For personal safety and dealing with erratic, violent personalities, it's not much better than being Colleen's librarian.

Jenny in Atl
In the movie the Sixth Sense, the scene that scared me the most was not the "dead" but the opening when the patient shoots Bruce Willis' character. I studied abnormal psychology in college, and I have not lost my fear of the criminally insane. It's not rational but there none the less.
