Ariston
Anyone know of any spelling programs that are online, preferably free? I've seen sites for extra help with spelling but haven't found anything that could actually replace instruction at home. My kids are 9 and almost 11 and have done almost nothing formally for spelling. I would consider a paid site if it was really good. TIA!Elena

desertflower
Easy peasy homeschool is a free online resource. I would imagine it has spelling as well. Not sure since I don't use it. Also, it may have some christian content.

Bookworm4
http://www.thephonicspage.org/On%20Spelling/onspellinglinks.html There is information on that link as well as links from that page to Don Potter's spelling page.
Zoo Keeper
http://www.zaner-bloser.com/media/zb/zaner-bloser/spellingconnections/practice-pages.html I've used these pages at different times with different children of mine. There isn't explicit instruction, but many of the lists are grouped by phonics, suffixes or prefixes.
