She has read a lot about Thomas Jefferson but not a biography. Anyone have a suggestion for a good one at her age? I'd also love to hear any tips about visiting Monticello if anyone has some! Thanks! Jennifer we took our youngest at about that age. We all really enjoyed the visit and the tour. Make sure you allow enough time to enjoy the grounds around the house. TrulySusan Posted April 9, 2015 Share Posted April 9, 2015 We took a special tour geared toward kids. Our 3 were ages 7, 9, and 11 at the time but other children were older and younger.
