Moxie
I want to track what I eat and how much coffee I drink. I'm not interested in counting calories but counting carbs would be nice. Any suggestions?
Guest
My Fitness Pal was always the best one I could find. It seemed to have a bigger database of foods because people can manually add them in.
PeachyDoodle
Seconding My Fitness Pal. You can customize to show which calculations you want to show (carbs, fat, sodium, etc.). And you can add your own recipes.
fruitofthewomb
I just started using my fitness pal & love it!! I have never tracked food before & it's so neat to see total calories, fat, protein, carbs, sugar, etc for each meal and for the day. It is very easy to use. Love it! pehp
Yes, back when I did this I loved MFP! I kept track of protein, carbs, fat and fiber. It was so helpful!

LucyStoner
Every time I enter in a new recipe in My Fitness Pal, after I get it all edited and as accurate as possible it disappears. It just vanishes. It is crazy making for me. It's a glitch, perhaps with my iPad app interface. I finally started logging the main ingredients of the recipe and leaving out the almost non-calorie components like lemon and spices. Finally though I just gave up on it and went to writing my log with a pencil. In a notebook. How quaint, I know.
Guest
Ok, how do I track carbs? I don't see them anywhere....
PeachyDoodle
Ok, how do I track carbs? I don't see them anywhere.... I mostly use their website on my laptop. It's under Settings -- Diary Settings -- Change Nutrients Tracked. Whatever nutrients are listed there should show up at the bottom of your Food Diary. It may be different if you're using a table or phone app.
