MarkT
looks like the savings are on the hard-copy not the ebooks I looked at a sample $170 text - semester rental for $
Luckymama
Thanks Mark! I checked the two books I rented for dd from Amazon for this coming semester. One is not in stock (a Norton anthology of American lit) and the other (a French lit anthology, in French) is available, for a semester rental, for $37.81. Yesterday I paid $15.43. Moral, always check different sources! (I did yesterday, though I didn't know about Staples at the time.) And what's with a 30/45/60/90/125 day rental choices? Good for a summer or winter session, but I can see someone easily selecting the wrong choice.

DD's humanities class covers four different books during a 10 week quarter.

Teachin'Mine
Students at Colorado College, Cornell College and a few others on the block plan can really benefit from the 30 day rental rates.
TechWife
This thread is making me grateful for the textbook rental program at ds' chosen university - $125/semester for all textbooks is quite a deal. He will have to purchase supplemental books, consumable textbooks and art supplies, but that is all.
