dsmith
for completely ruining the surprise we had planned for my in-laws!!! We ordered new appliances and instead of calling dh's cell phone about tomorrow's delivery, they called the house line which was intentionally left off the order with explicit instructions NOT to call it. I am so upset!! We were going to reveal it tonight, and I worked for over an hour last night making a special card to explain the gift. Dh is going to be SO MAD! Cinder
Oh bummer! Hopefully they'll be thrilled anyway with such a generous gift.
unsinkable
How disappointing! I'd be a bit deflated but it is truly a wonderful gift that I'm sure your in-laws will love.
dsmith
Well I think they may only know about the dishwasher, so I feel a little better. And in the spirit of full disclosure, we share a house, so it's a gift for ourselves too.😄 I can't wait to see their reaction though. I think the fridge and stove are 20 years old and the dishwasher racks are crumbling apart bit by bit. My son wanted to give them the card yesterday. I wish we had listened to him. Oh well... curlgirl
I am so sorry. I would definitely calling Sears and complaining. That is pretty dumb especially around the holidays. Sorry your surprise is ruined. :(
Farrar
I wouldn't bother calling to complain. I'm pretty sure they train their customer service people to lie, be nasty, and hang up on people. There is no company I loathe more than Sears.
