Dmmetler
Just did DD's application for Math and science this year, so thought I'd post a reminder. DD finds these fun, and it's very homeschool friendly. They don't do online registration, so allow time to mail it in. http://www.continentalmathematicsleague.com/

Space station
So do you do these with other kids, or does your daughter just do them on her own? If with others, how many others and are they in the same grade, or at the same math level?
Dmmetler
I'm hoping we'll have a couple of others at different levels this year-I've set up a monthly math club, but many of the parents are nervous about competition. I'll meet with them once before the deadline, so I'm hoping to talk them into it, but I wanted to go ahead and register DD so she's covered regardless. SeaConquest
I am looking at second grade. Is it really $85 per test?
Arcadia
I am looking at second grade. Is it really $85 per test? It is $20 per individual or $85 per team "A Home School to us does not necessarily mean a student is schooled at home - rather, simply a student that wishes to participate when his or her school does not. So yes, we attach Home School to the student's last name such as the Smith Home School. The fee is reduced to $20 per child for each League/Contest. No student may participate on a school team and as a "Home School " team. An example: A student is registered for grade 5 Euclidean Division math and for a grade 5 Science. Cost is $40." I looked at the website and did not catch that. I would like to register my son, but thought the $85 was too much as we don't have a team. This info helps.
