AMJ Posted May 13, 2014 Share Posted May 13, 2014 We had been promised rain in significant amounts for days now, only to see each storm pass us by. So.... I ran my filthy van through a car wash today. 4000 miles of dirt from 7 different western states all washed off. I am now up late, getting rid of the last of my caffeine overdose jitters (too much chai earlier), listening to the thunderstorm. Car is washed, rain has come. Ta-da! I have been out before yelling at a passing storm, "I dare you to rain!" We get pretty desperate around the early part of August.
